30th December... Bye Singapore~

The flight was sucky... The food wasnt very good and the seat was so stiff!!! Argh!!! I wanna go home!!! But well, perhaps I shouldn't complain so much haha it's economic class anyway. But yup, on board the plane, I was thinking about the scene at the airport. My Sisterz and Deardear came to my place on the 29th and we left my house at around 1.30am in the morn for a Nasi Lemak supper at Chong Pang. The chicken wing was darn good!! Super crispy lor.. come back must eat again haha.. Then we went to the airport and I was being interrogated by the customs personnel. Super fierce lor, no joke kinda and I so stupid tell them I got a gift from my friend's mum to my friend then they kept asking... (@ Changi Airport)

Customs person: What is the gift?
Me: Errm.. I think it's CD.
Customs person: U think? Did you see it?
Me: Yes!! It's CD. (just to get around it)
Customs person: Did they coerce u to bring it?
Me: (havent gt the chance to ans)
Customs person: Did they pay u to bring it? When are you passing to ur friend? Who is your friend? When is she collecting it from you?
Me: *stunned*

Gosh!! That wasnt very pleasant lor!! Darn shitty!! :S Haiz.. but that's just the beginning lorz.. upon touching down at the Minneapolis Airport the customs personnel's attitudes are worse lor!! Sickening fellas!! *pui*

Din get to sleep v well on the flight before or after transit at Narita, Tokyo where I had Ebi Burger at MacDonalds, YES!! Ebi Burger at Macs!! Haha.. we dun get that in Singapore lorz and the Ebi burger though ex (about SGD4.50) is nice!! hehe though the burger seemed smaller than Singapore's. Then reached Minneapolis, we paid this person to carry our luggages for about USD$5 and we got our luggages past the customs darn fast!! The person din even screen our luggages lehz!! So it's really worth the money lar.. plus we got like 6 luggages shared by 3 ppl, its indeed worth it lar.. hehe. Then York (one of the other 3 SMU students who's on exchange in Minnesota) sister's friend, Kim Huat and his wife, Sandy, came to fetch us from the airport. Quite nice of them lorz.. but one car not enough for 6 luggages larz.. esp when there are 2 29" ones haha so we took a cab also. Wah piangz!! It costs USD37 for a 15 min drive lehz!! Blardy expensive manz!! Can faint haha.. but then well, we're in USA, what say do we have?!?! haha..

Then we rested in the hotel for a while before the young couple (they are both 29 years old and Kim Huat is doing PHD in IT here in University of Minnesota) brought us out to Wal-Mart (YES!! Wal-Mart) where the stuff are darn cheap and another Mega-store (supposedly Wal-Mart's challenger - Target). So I bought a pair of leather gloves for USD7.98 --> around SGD12. In Singapore, a pair of leather gloves easily cost like S39.90?!?! So it's darn cheap lar!! hehe.. so I bought lorz.. hurhur.. And then we went had burgers at Wendy's for dinner (normal burgers) and then went back to hotel to sleep lar.. v tired when we got back. It's about 6pm but we buey tahan le. Meibin (York, Meibin and I travelled together to Minnesota and we will be meeting Gina later so total gt 4 of us. Meibin most likely will be my room mate in future hehe) and I KO-ed once we reached the hotel at 6pm and we slept thru till about 10pm while York unpacked and bathed haha.. So we woke up ard 10+ and then went online (there's free wireless) and we chatted and bathed and then slept at 1+ hurhur.. ok then that's all for my super long 1st day.. It felt v long coz I survived more than 16 hours on the plane.. Yawnz!!

Bye Singapore.. and till I cya again in 5+months time... ZzzZZzz
